The City of St. Augustine’s Annual Arbor Day Ceremony will take place on Friday, January 20, 2023 at 11:00am at Twine Park in Lincolnville.  Celebrating the 40th year of the city being designated a “Tree City”!

Remarks will be given by Mayor Nancy Sikes-Kline and there will be the planting of one Live Oak tree by city officials. Remarks will also be given from the Street Tree Advisory Committee, Freemont Latimer, and a poetry reading by the City’s Poet Laureate, Norma Sherry.

Parking is limited.  Residents living nearby are encouraged to walk or ride bikes.

There will also be a drive-thru sapling distribution from 10:00am-2:00pm (or while supplies last) via the W. Castillo Drive Entrance of the Historic Parking Facility.  City staff will be giving away Persimmon and Flatwood Plum saplings this year.
