An Arbor Day Ceremony will take place on Friday, January 21, 2022 at Coquina Park in South Davis Shores neighborhood at 11:00am.
Opening remarks will be given by Vice Mayor Nancy Sikes-Kline as well as the planting of one large Live Oak tree by city officials. There will also be remarks by Freemont Latimer from the Street Tree Advisory Committee.
Residents living nearby are encouraged to walk or ride bikes. Limited space is available for parking.
There will also be a drive-thru sapling distribution from 10:00am-2:00pm (or while supplies last) via the W. Castillo Drive Entrance of the Historic Parking Facility. City staff will be giving away Live Oak, Magnolia, and Loquat trees.
