Apex Theatre Studio presents the off-Broadway hit musical Ride The Cyclone in their Black Box Theatre in St. Augustine on March 3-5, 2023.

In this hilarious and outlandish story, the lives of six teenagers from a Canadian chamber choir are cut short in a freak accident aboard a roller coaster. When they awake in limbo, a mechanical fortune teller invites each to tell a story to win a prize like no other …. the chance to return to life.

The show is a funny, moving look at what makes a life well-lived.

Under the direction of guest director Nick Case, a graduate of Penn State University’s Musical Theatre program. Musical direction led by Joshua Sewell; choreography by Laura Frye.

The cast features a mixture of Duval and St. Johns County students. That includes Haiden Matthews, Oliva DeMaio, DJ DeJesus, Miles Melanson, Owen Betancourt, Ruby Simmons, Emily Gonzalez and George Eastman.

The show is rated PG-13 for mature language.
