Ancient City Poets PAM JAM Preview

During the October Ancient City Poets open mic reading, invited poets read poems they wrote/created while being paired with an artist from Butterfield Garage.

The Butterfield Garage and the Ancient City Poets partnered in August of 2019 to form a project named PAM JAM (Poets, Artists, and Musicians Spreading Joy).  The deadline for the poet/artist collaboration team was April 1, 2020.  But, then COVID-19 threw itself into the mix.

Writers and artists got to know each other better through emails, text messages, zoom meetings and late-night phone calls. They bonded together, building new relationships with each other.

This ZOOM event features 18 poets and their poems from the inaugural PAM Jam.
