Be sure to join the City of St. Augustine for the America Recycles Day Event!  Free to City of St. Augustine and St. Johns County residents.  At this annual community event there is document shredding and disposal of used oil and electronics.

When: Friday, November 21, 2025 | 9:00am-1:00pm

Where:  Solid Waste Facility

Document Shredding
* 5 box limit per resident. Watch as we shred your documents! Please remove binder clips prior to drop-off!

Used Cooking Oils
* vegetable oil, peanut oil, canola oil, etc. No Motor oil!

Holiday Lights & Batteries
* car, tool, and household

Outdated & Broken “E-waste” (electronic devices)
* computers, printers, laptops, and cell phones.

NO HAZARDOUS WASTE OR TVs. NO MOTOR OIL
