The Crisp-Ellert Art Museum will kick off the Fall 2022 season with an exhibition by M. Florine Démosthène, entitled Always in All Ways. The solo exhibition runs from September 5 through October 22, 2022 and will include twelve new mixed media works on paper as well as new sculptures.

Démosthène continues to investigate the conflict between the traditional, ethereal, western, and contemporary ideas of love. These new works that incorporate collage, ink, pigment stick, glitter, along with three-dimensional objects, reflect a personal contemplation of what it means to embody the concept of “love”.  They’re informed, in part, by Démosthène’s time spent living in Accra, Ghana.

Please Note:   Due to the inclement weather, the Walkthrough and Reception on Friday, October 7, 2022 — 5:00pm-8:00pm with the Walkthrough at 5:00pm — has been rescheduled for Friday, October 20, 2022.
