Akia Uwanda McDaniel performs as one of the headliners for this years’ Romanza Festivale.  She’ll be at Trinity Hall on Saturday, April 30, 2022 — 7:30pm-9:00pm.

A Jacksonville native, she is a multi-talented entertainer who is classically and experientially trained.

Ms. Uwanda has opened for Earth, Wind and Fire and Avery Sunshine as well as shared the stage with jazz greats, Gregory Porter and Kamasi Washington.  She has performed at venues such as the Four Seasons Hotel in Houston and Carnegie Hall in New York City.

Don’t miss Akia’s beautiful vocal stylings.  This years’ program is entitled “A Tribute to The Ladies of New Jazz And Soul” featuring music from Sade, Anita Baker, and Chaka Khan.
