Acoustic Alchemy’s concert on Sunday, October 10, 2021 at the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall has been cancelled.  Due to an unforeseen medical issue with Greg Carmichael, the group has been forced to postpone their Fall 2021 tour.   Refunds will be available via point of purchase.  Click event website link for all the details.

Even if the band’s signature eclectic mix of styles has meant they have never comfortably fit snugly into any one genre, the band have been at the forefront of contemporary jazz for over three decades.

They have a brand new album, “33 1/3”. Prior to it, the last studio album from the band, “Roseland”, was released in 2011, followed by a live double album, “Live In London”, in 2014.

There are two main reasons for the amount of time fans have had to wait for this album. The first is that the band feel very passionately that you should only write and album when you have something to say. And, second Greg Carmichael’s wife Jan was suddenly struck with meningitis shortly before an American tour in 2015. Needless to say, he couldn’t even think about writing or playing. Fortunately, she did recover.
