A Classic Theatre’s first production of the 2018-2019 season is the iconic “1984” adapted by Robert Owens, Wilton E. Hall, Jr., and William A. Miles, Jr. Based on the iconic novel by George Orwell, 1984 is a provocative adaptation of one of the most prescient works of literature of the last century. The society portrayed was unbelievable. Yet, today it might not be impossible after all if we’re not vigilant and aware.
