St. Augustine Art Association has partnered with the Lightner Museum for the 2023 Summer Art Camp. Ideal for ages 6-10 and 11-14.

When: 9:00am-12:00pm — Weeks of June 5-9 and 12-16 and July 10-14 and 17-21, 2023.

Students will explore a variety of mediums and techniques to encourage art appreciation and critical thinking, as well as allow students to experiment with their own creativity.

2023 Summer Art Camp Class Schedule:

June 5-9 – St. Augustine Art Association — First Things First: Draw It — Drawing is a key skill for a developing artist. Begin using pencils, charcoal, pen and ink and black fine tipped marker.

June 12-16 – St. Augustine Art Association — Limited Edition — Printmaking and Patterns. Color and Design.

July 10-14 – Lightner Museum — Hot Wheels — Thinking of bicycles in the past, present and future, campers will create both 2D and 3D works of art utilizing materials like watercolor paints, cardboard, wire and more.

July 17-21 – Lightner Museum — My Point of View — students will study the basics of photography and learn how to use camera tools and settings to capture their own points of view.

Cost: $175 per session — includes supplies. Discount for multiple children and/or sessions.
