Nights of Lights
Celebrating 20 years in the Nation's Oldest City
During the holidays, St. Augustine becomes a truly magical place. On Saturday, November 23, 2013 the city will celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the award-winning Nights of Lights event. This 10-week light display begins with what has been coined Light-Up Night where the town is filled with residents and visitors to watch as the Major flips the switch and the city lights-up with millions of tiny white lights.
During Nights of Lights in St. Augustine, romance is in the air as couples stroll the streets hand-in-hand or take a horse and carriage ride from their B&B to their favorite restaurant. Families can be seen on the Holly Jolly Trolley as they joyfully sing Christmas Carols or as they make their way across the Bridge of Lions to the Winter Wonderland at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre. Enjoy history and romance this holiday season during Nights of Lights in St. Augustine.
