In addition to our featured art galleries, Flagler College’s rapidly-growing Fine Art department also frequently has shows and openings that are open to the public. If you’d like to get a taste of the art scene in St. Augustine, make sure to attend a First Friday Art Walk, which is held on the First Friday of each month. On this spectacular night, artists and gallery owners open their doors and invite you in for food, drink, and discussion. The walk winds around the historic downtown area, highlighting primarily the galleries on King Street, which runs in front of Flagler College, connecting A1A and US1. The Art Walk offers a very balanced view of the kinds of art available every day of the year in St. Augustine.
