Be a BIG tipper & support Big Brothers Big Sisters of St. Johns County!   Celebrating its 21st year, the Annual Tips for Kids Sake dinner event will provide an opportunity to enjoy great food and entertainment while supporting a good cause!  This ever popular event places Celebrity Waiters at restaurants where they wait tables and all their tips are donations for Big Brothers Big Sisters of St. Johns County (BBBS).   Local Celebrities will be recruiting their family, friends, and colleagues to come and sit in their section during Tips for Kids Sake.  “Tips is always such a fun time,” says Teresa Andrews, Fund Development Director, “folks coming to the event not only eat a great meal, they have a great time watching their Celebrity Waiter serve them and have fun giving them a hard time. The entertainment of having a friend or family member as a Celebrity Waiter often provides additional reason to leave a big tip which is then donated to BBBS.”

This year’s theme is the Roaring 20’s!  Dressing up is highly encouraged – give them dinner AND a show!

SOUTH TIPS: Tuesday, Feb 2nd
(St. Augustine proper, includes the Island)

NORTH TIPS: Tuesday, Feb 9th
(WGV, PVB & Julington Creek)

Reservations are strongly encouraged for those folks who would like to attend Tips for Kids Sake and enjoy good food and entertainment while helping out a great cause.  Dinner will be at various participating restaurants throughout St. Johns County.  For a list of participating restaurants, visit the Big Brothers Big Sisters website.  For more information, contact Big Brothers Big Sisters at (904) 829-9986.

This event is the major fundraiser of the year for Big Brothers Big Sisters of St. Johns County. The money goes to expand mentoring programs throughout St. Johns County. “All the funds raised stay in St. Johns County and allow us to reach more kids in the community” states Andrews. BBBS places children in professionally supported one-to-one mentoring relationships that ‘change children’s live for the better, forever’.
