The Lightner Museum welcomes gardening duo extraordinaires, “The Sisterhood of the Traveling Plants”, for an afternoon’s demonstration of unique floral arrangements and specially-crafted table landscapes reminiscent of the English Country Manor.
Join us in the front lobby of the Lightner for an illuminating presentation on floral arranging created by Garden Club of St. Augustine members, Cathy Snyder and Marilyn Smith. Snyder and Smith are passionate about flowers. They’ve joined forces to travel the area, demonstrating creative and unique uses of flowers, fruits, and vegetables for elegant home and entertaining displays.
This event will focus primarily on the decorative aesthetics from the late 19th to early 20th centuries that evoke the lifestyle of the English country manor.
Light refreshments will be served by the Garden Club of St. Augustine.
Cost for this event is $30 per person and tickets can be purchased by clicking on the event website link. Bring your ticket to the museum’s front desk anytime before the event on Sunday, July 23rd and enjoy complimentary admission to the museum.
