The ‘Symphonic Odyssey’ Concert, performed by the St. Augustine Orchestra, will take you to Europe in the early 1840s through to Russian in the 1930s. It features the works of Italian, German, Russian, Czech, and Norwegian Composers during a time of social change, wars and revolutions in Europe. The performance, at the Lightner Museum, will also feature Mr. Steve Marr in a clarinet solo on a composition written by Mozart. An odyssey can be an intellectual or spiritual wandering or quest – we like to think of this program as our quest to musically document a turbulent, game-changing time in history!
