small Villa Zorayda COLORED

The Villa Zorayda Museum is proud to present “Steven Dean Anderson, an Encore Art Exhibit”.   The artwork will be featured alongside the Museum’s permanent collection March 19th through May 31, 2016.

Anderson is a visually impaired artist who lives in St. Augustine, FL, documenting the architecture of America’s oldest city, creating detailed memories with an innovative realism and neon-neo-impressionist color.  He infuses his work with life and soul. What makes his art even more interesting is the fact that he doesn’t see his art in the same way the general public views it due to his faltering and diminishing eye-sight. He’s almost completely color blind – light colors become gray – dark colors become black. He’s lost nearly all his periphery vision, leaving him with a rapidly closing, tiny, blurry window from which he currently views the world around him.

For more information about this special exhibit, please visit the Villa Zorayda website or call 904-829-9887.
