St. Augustine Colonial Night Watch features re-enactors from St. Augustine’s colonial past in the years 1739-1785. You could possibly see the St. Augustine Spanish Garrison, East Florida Rangers, the 60th Regiment of Foote, Native Americans, and others. There is a Torchlight Parade that will commence at 7PM from the Castillo de San Marcos to the City Gates. At the City gates, the public is invited to fall in behind the re-enactors for a procession down St. George Street to the Government House where there will be a welcome speech and the assembled units will fire a volley of joy to mark the beginning of the Christmas season. After the units are dismissed, join in a sing along of some old tyme Christmas carols to ring in the Holiday Season.
