This Run has been organized to honor ReAnna Greene who tragically lost her life to Domestic Violence in April of 2015. ReAnna grew up in St. Augustine, graduating from Pedro Menendez High School, then UCF with a BS in Nursing. She moved to Baltimore where she worked at R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center. She was also a teaching assistant at the UofM School of Nursing and was enrolled in a Doctorate program at the University of Maryland.
The proceeds from this event will be used to help provide a scholarship to a Pedro Menendez athlete that will be pursuing a career in nursing and also to speak out against Domestic Violence and to serve as a catalyst to help those who may find themselves in a similar situation.
