Come on out to the Friends of Washington Oaks monthly plant sale held the second Saturday of each month! Plant sales feature a wonderful selection of flowers, plants, and bushes along with the unusual and hard to find plants for your home, patio, and garden. You may find Florida Natives among the selections on the plant benches. A portion of the plants were propagated and grown in the park and all the proceeds from the sale directly go back to benefit the park. The August plant sale will specialize in Florida Friendly Plants and Novelties.
At 11am, our “Plant Chat” will feature Ranger Joe Woodbury discussing the butterflies of Palm Coast and Flagler Beach. Learn about the plants necessary to attract beautiful butterflies to your yard, and sustain them throughout their life cycle. Wear comfortable shoes for a short walk through the gardens to view the butterflies which call Washington Oaks home!
Regular park entrance fee of $5 per vehicle, up to eight people; $4 per vehicle for single occupancy or $2 per person on bicycle applies.
