Come on out to the Friends of Washington Oaks monthly plant sale held the second Saturday of each month! Plant sales feature a wonderful selection of flowers, plants, and bushes along with the unusual and hard to find plants for your home, patio, and garden. You may find Florida Natives among the selections on the plant benches. A portion of the plants were propagated and grown in the park and all the proceeds from the sale directly go back to benefit the park.
Join us at 11am for our plant chat: “Native Plants that Shaped Florida’s History”. Bald Cypress, Coontie, and Live Oak are some of the characters that will be introduced.
Regular park entrance fee of $5 per vehicle, up to eight people; $4 per vehicle for single occupancy or $2 per person on bicycle applies.
