The Cultural Center presents “Environments: Real and Imagined”, with works by Ronald Gibbons and Sara Pedigo on display in the Main Galleries. The exhibit runs from July 24th through September 3rd.
Sara is enthralled and preoccupied by light’s incredible power to transform her perception of objects, spaces, and the human body. She records the beauty and complexity inherent in her mundane surroundings, giving testament to her conscious effort to be present in this world.
Ron considers his painting as a type of poetry. He rhymes visual ideas by drawing on sources that are contemporary, historical, and personal with a goal to find meaning that resonates and transcends any particular space or time.
Gallery admission is free and open to the public. Exhibited works available for purchase.
Exhibition Opening Reception: Friday, July 24th 6PM – 8PM.
