Rock icon Roger Daltrey and members of The Who band (Simon Townshend, Jon Button, Scott Devours, Loren Gold and Frank Simes) will be performing Who classics, rarities, and solo hits live at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre on November 3rd. Edgar Winter will join as special guest opening act.
Daltrey has lent his Olympian pipes to a staggering array of enduring rock ‘n roll anthems like “I Can’t Explain”, “Who Are You”, “Won’t Get Fooled Again”, “I Can See for Miles”, “Pinball Wizard” and many more. His substantial solo discography includes acclaimed albums “Daltrey”, “Ride a Rock Horse”, “Under a Raging Moon”, and the soundtrack for the film McVicar, among others and hit singles such as “Giving It All Away”, “Without Your Love”, “Free Me”, and “After the Fire”. Daltrey has also appeared onstage playing the Tin Man in a production of The Wizard of Oz at The Lincoln Center and he’s starred as Scrooge in A Christmas Carol at Madison Square Garden. He’s also received a Golden Globe nomination for the role of Tommy Walker in Ken Russell’s movie adaptation of The Who’s “Tommy”.
