Modern-day world, folk and soul troubadours Rising Appalachia will be performing at the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall. The soulful sisters of Rising Appalachia, Leah Song and Chloe Smith, tear into sounds with sensual prowness. Listen to their beautiful sound of banjo and fiddle duets and poetic harmonies.
Their self-sculpted career has included six independently released full-length albums. For the latest, “Wider Circles”, they drew from a melting pot of genres. “Wider Circles” was inspired by folk standards and traditional hymns, old mountain odes, and activist anthems that pull equally from the swampy sounds of the bayou, the contemporary twang of the Appalachian Mountains, and the beat of a global rhythm.
Doors 7:00 p.m. / Show 8:00 p.m.
Tickets can be purchased on the Concert Hall’s website, at their box office and the St. Augustine Amphitheatre box office. For additional information, please visit the Concert Hall website.
