Three iconic bands will be performing; Grammy-winning singer/songwriter Rick Springfield, Canadian hard-rocking legends Loverboy, and Detroit’s new wave outfit The Romantics. They will be hitting the road for a tripleheader, fall tour and the St. Augustine Amphitheatre is one of the stops!
Springfield’s concerts are legendary with their high-energy, full band sets. He’s had 17 top-40 hits including “Don’t Talk to Strangers”, “Love Somebody”, and his No. 1 single “Jessie’s Girl”.
Loverboy has sold over 10 million albums, earning four multi-platinum plaques. They’re known for “Working for the Weekend”, “Lovin’ Every Minute of It”, and “Get Lucky” among other songs from the ’80s.
The Romantics, led by lead singer Wally Palmar, are equally influenced by punk, new wave, garage rock, and the British Invasion. Their self-titled 1980 debut album produced the massive hit “What I Like About You”.
