Hardy Jones, author and retired wildlife and conservation film maker who has worked for PBS, Discovery, TBS, and National Geographic, comes to inspire people with Parkinson’s Disease to use creativity as a therapy to lift mood and diminish the symptoms of the disease. The medication (dopamine replacement therapy) for PD has been known to increase creativity and after his diagnosis in 2012, Hardy picked up a paintbrush for the first time and now has a strong interest in painting. Recently his artwork was selected to appear in the Parkinson’s Foundations Creativity and Parkinson’s calendar.
