The beauty and wonder of the natural world are explored in this gallery-wide 8th Annual Nature & Wildlife Exhibition. More than 125 original works of art depicting the diversity and surprising wonders of nature were selected for the juried exhibit from over 400 online entries submitted by artists from across the U.S. and abroad. The installation features an array of wild animals, from apes to zebras, as well as plants, landscapes and marine life, represented in paintings, sculpture, photography, drawings, collages, fiber and more. The exhibit runs July 22 through August 27, 2017.
The prestigious art contest will be judged by internationally acclaimed illustrator Don Maitz of Tampa, Florida for the prize purse of $5,000. Awards will be announced at the “Art-Tiki Luau Party,” opening reception banquet, July 22, from 5 to 8 p.m. Tickets are available by calling (904) 824-2310.
