The St. Augustine Amphitheatre, in partnership with JaxLive and The Foundation, proudly announce the return of indie rock band Modest Mouse and special guest.  Modest Mouse was originally scheduled to perform at the Amphitheare on September 7, 2017 and was postponed due to Hurricane Irma. Tickets from the September 7th concert will be honored on April 21, 2018. Patrons who cannot attend the rescheduled April 21, 2018 date may request a refund now through March 20, 2018; refunds are available at the point of purchase.

Formed in Issaquah, Washington, over the past two decades Modest Mouse has become the indie rock golden standard:  One of the few  bands capable of achieving massive popularity without sacrificing their longtime fans.

Their latest album, “Strangers to Ourselves” (Epic), debuted at #3 on the Billboard 200, and at #1 on the Rock, Alternative, Vinyl, and Internet charts the week it was released.  The band also earned a career-high debut on the UK Official Albums chart.  “Stangers to Ourselves: has also garnered accolades in Entertainment Weekly, Rolling Stone, Time Magazine, NME, USA Today, and more.
