Meet the Collections and Curators is a series hosted by the Flagler College Archives and the Special Collections departments at the Proctor Library. This event is is entitled “Fashion at the Hotel Ponce de Leon” and will be a photographic tour through the history of the Hotel Ponce de Leon from the 1880s to the 1960s. The public will have an opportunity to step back in time to view the fashion of Hotel Ponce de Leon guests when Flagler College shares its archives in the Flagler Room, once known as the Women’s Grand Parlor Room. Archives and Special Collections staff and students will be outfitted in period dress for the occasion.
The event is free and open to the public. Event attendees will also be able to enjoy the one-time special benefit of having lunch in the historic Dining Hall ($6.75 per person), normally reserved for students only.
