Reggae and hip hop artist Matisyahu and his “Festival of Light” Tour will perform for two nights, Friday, December 18 and Saturday, December 19. Matisyahu has established a reputation for following his muse…from the stripped-down roots reggae of the gold-certified “Live at Stubb’s” to the trippy ministrations of “Youth” to the polished pop eclecticism of “Light”. This past March, he has started performing new arrangements of his early reggae hits from the original album, along with a selection of later favorites up through “Akeda”.
This tour reconnects Matisyahu with long-time musical collaborators and friends from his early touring days, including “Live at Stubb’s” guitarist Aaron Dugan. Matisyahu and his band will present an evening of stripped-back arrangements highlighting the music that launched his career while taking fans of all ages on a journey through the evolution of “Live at Stubb’s” to his most recent release “Akeda”.
Doors 7:00 p.m. / Show 8:00 p.m.
