The GTM Research Reserve, in collaboration with the Marineland Dolphin Adventure, invites the public to a free lecture that will be held at Marineland Dolphin Adventure. The program is presented the third Tuesday of the month and is part of an ongoing lecture series. The series is designed to help learn more about your coastal natural world and will feature a different speaker each month.
This months’ lecture is titled Monitoring Fish Populations in the Intracoastal Waterway”. Biologist Ed McGinley, PhD., will discuss his research in the intracoastal waterway, which includes measuring and documenting seasonal and spatial patterns in fish species richness, abundance and size.
Seating is limited. Tickets must be purchased online — click on the event website link to reserve your spot! Bring your ticket to the Marineland gift shop at 9:45 a.m. on the day of the scheduled presentation to gain entry. Participants without a ticket will not be allowed entry.
