The GTM Research Reserve, in collaboration with the Marineland Dolphin Adventure, invites the public to a free lecture at our new location: Marineland Dolphin Adventure. GTM Research Reserve Coastal Training Coordinator Tina Gordon will present “Future Habitat Changes in Matanzas Basin”.
The Matanzas Basin is one of the most valued and threatened areas along the Atlantic coast of Florida. Close to 90 percent of the Basin is undeveloped, thereby providing a rare potential along the Florida east coast. Ms. Gordon will present the results of a three-year National Estuarine Research Reserve System Science Collaborative grant-funded project in which the GTM Research Reserve partnered with the University of Florida.
Please arrive at the gift shop by 9:45 a.m. All attendees will receive a special wristband for free admission to Marineland after the lecture.
