Rollicking Gulf Coast musician Marcia Ball and special guest Amy Speace will be performing at the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall. Marcia Ball is a musical storyteller who has earned worldwide fame for her ability to ignite a full-scale roadhouse rhythm and blues party every time she strolls onto the stage. Her groove-laden New Orleans boogie, deeply soulful ballads and rollicking Gulf Coast blues have made her a one-of-a-kind favorite with music fans all over the world. She’s received a total of six Living Blues Awards and nine Blues Music Awards (and has a whopping 42 nominations) along with five GRAMMY Award nominations.
Working for the past 10 years under the radar of the mainstream music industry, Amy Speace is one of the most heralded singers and songwriters of her generation. A chance meeting with legend Judy Collins changed the direction of her life when Collins invited her to join her on tour and recorded her song “The Weight of the World”. Her latest album “That Kind of Girl” was just released in March 2015.
