Jyotika Shroff, the featured artist during First Friday Art Walk, will welcome you with her uplifting, sea inspired creations. Join us and hear about her techniques and how she was inspired by life experiences while traveling through India, Latin America, and Southern Europe.
Using mostly acrylics, Jyotika specializes in contemporary renderings of creatures of the seas and other wildlife using vibrant and inviting colors in her own unique style. She skillfully captures the beauty inherent in the world around us and she strives to remind us all to pause, reflect, and take notice of our fascinating world.
Jyotika is a Fine Arts graduate of Sir J.J. School of Art in Mumbai, India and has a degree in Graphic Design from the Foothill College in California. She worked as a graphic designer in St. Louis, Missouri for twenty years. After her move to Tampa, she rekindled her passion for painting.
Her fantastic work will be on view from September 1 until October 1, 2017.
