To celebrate Black History Month, St. Cyprian’s Jazz Vespers for February will feature the music of Linda Cole. Linda, acknowledged as having the “smoothest voice” in the business, is currently appearing in jazz spots, night clubs and restaurants throughout the Southeastern U.S. Having “been there” when the great songs were written, Linda can talk about the authors first hand, and has the original scores, many written just for her. Linda will not only sing, but she will speak on Black History Month from her own perspective.
Jazz Vespers is an informal service of readings, prayers, and great music. Following the service there will be a wine & cheese reception.
