“Isaco” is the First Annual Native Festival and Gathering at the Fountain of Youth Park honoring the Timucua and all Southeastern people by sharing culture, history, and life-ways in a respectful manner with the general public.
Demonstrating vendors will offer handmade arts and crafts for every budget.
Men and women’s traditional Pow Wow dancing.
Traditional Southeastern Social Stomp Dance exhibition at dusk.
Storytelling by Native American historical and contemporary interpreters sharing Culture from both East and West of the Mississippi.
This event will be held in the recreated Timucuan village of Seloy, on the site of the ancient village of the same name. “Isaco” is the Timucua word for “joy”.
