The St. Augustine Lighthouse will be having Behind the Scenes Tours offered five times daily starting at 11 AM with the last tour at 3 PM celebrating International Archaeology Day. The Tiny Clues program is a hands-on program offered twice daily focusing on the process of archaeology perfect for small children. Both of the options are part of the local maritime history, archaeology and ship building stories of the Nation’s Oldest Port® educational program offerings at the Museum. If you are interested in shipwreck archaeology, our city’s maritime history or are curious to see the new Maritime Archaeology & Education Center, Saturday will be a good day to visit the family-friendly Museum.
The Lighthouse has many things to offer families or those just young at heart. Climb the Lighthouse, soak in the history, play on their nautical themed playground. There are annual memberships available. See the website for more information on events taking place.
Included with regular admission price.
