GTM Research Reserve/Marineland Lecture Series

November 21 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am

| Free

The GTM Research Reserve, in collaboration with the Marineland Dolphin Adventure, invites the public to a free lecture that will be held at Marineland Dolphin Adventure.  The program is presented the third Tuesday of the month and is part of an ongoing lecture series.  The series is designed to help learn more about your coastal natural world and will feature a different speaker each month.

This month’s lecture is entitled, “Inside Georgia Aquarium’s Conservation Field Station”.  Matthew Denny, manager of conservation programs at Georgia Aquarium’s Conservation Field Station, will present an overview of the mission, operations and research relating to dolphin and small whale rescue in Northeast Florida.

Seating is limited.  Tickets must be purchased online — click on the event website link to reserve your spot!

Bring your ticket to the Marineland gift shop at 9:45 a.m. on the day of the scheduled presentation so you can be escorted to the classroom.  Participants without a ticket will not be allowed entry.  Attendees will receive free admission to Marineland after the lecture to enjoy the park.  For more information, call 904-823-4500.
