Residents and visitors are invited to Grateful St. Augustine, a Thanksgiving service being held by the the St. Augustine Interfaith Community. Several Christian denominations are participating, as well as local Hindu, Jewish, Muslim, Native American, New Thought and Unitarian members. Young people and members of several local choirs will also participate.
Non-perishable food items will be gratefully accepted. The greatest need is for: rice, cereal, canned vegetables, peanut butter, jeffly, canned meats, powdered milk, pasta and sauce. Along with the offering, the food will be donated to the St Johns Ecumenical Pantry whose supplies were depleted by the hurricane.
Fellowship and light refreshments will follow the service.
