July 25, 2015 @ 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm

pirate-museum

The St. Augustine Pirate & Treasure Museum is pleased to announce July’s “Give Like a Pirate Day’ – taking place in the Pirate Museum Courtyard on Saturday, July 25th. The museum will host a “Christmas In July Tag Sale” with proceeds benefiting the St. Augustine Swashbuckler’s Holiday Toy Drive.

The Benefit will take place between 12PM – 4PM Saturday afternoon. The sale will feature Holiday merchandise, overstocked Treasure Shoppe items, never-used display pieces, and a selection of ephemera provided by the museum. All items will be “Yard Sale” priced, with event proceeds going directly to the Swashbucklers. Piratical characters will populate the Courtyard during the event. Snacks and beverages will be available as well.

The St. Augustine Swashbucklers are a crew of pirate enthusiasts and reenactors whose purpose is Charitable Work and Community Involvement. They routinely hold benefits for a variety of charitable causes in the Nation’s Oldest City, including Make-a-Wish foundation, Society for Autism, and the National Cancer Society. They are known for their Annual Holiday Toy Drive – which this event will directly benefit.

The St. Augustine Pirate & Treasure Museum’s “Give Like A Pirate Day’ was established by the museum as a chance to give back to the community which has been a great neighbor to the museum since it’s opening in December 2010. For any concerns or questions regarding this event, please contact the museum directly by phone (904-819-1444) or email (info@thepiratemuseum.com).
