Beloved, melodic folk pianist George Winston will be live at the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall.  With  a career spanning nearly  50 years, Winston is one of the most recognized and celebrated solo pianists on the globe – selling  more than 15 million albums worldwide.  Since the release of his debut album, “Ballads and Blues” in 1972, Winston has released 14 solo recordings. His latest, “Spring Carousel: A Cancer Research Benefit”, will directly benefit City of Hope, a not-for-profit clinical research center in California.  The album was composed as Winston was in  recovery from a  bone marrow transplant for Myelodysplastic Syndrome (MDS). Upon hearing Winston’s singular work on “Spring Carousel”, a depth of piano brilliance effortlessly sinks into one’s soul, never leaving the listener eager for anything other than the next swirling song on the recording.
