Start the New Year off at Fort Mose Historic State Park. Join birding expert Susan Killeen on a hike and birding exploration of our Salt Marsh and the Secondary Fort Site Island (established 1752).
Don’t forget your rubber boots, binoculars, cameras, water, and any other pertinent items, to make your travel through the estuary more enjoyable.
Visitors are asked to meet at the Visitor Center for a brief historical video at 1:00 pm. Marsh walk will begin promptly at 1:30 pm and conclude by 3:00 pm.
Participation is the event is free. There is a museum admission fee of $2.00 per person / children under 6 are free.
