The St. Augustine Film Society presents a free showing of the French film, La Grande Vadrouille. Released in 1966, it is one of Terry Thomas’ best comedies. Thomas lays an RAF pilot whose plane is shot down over Paris who, along with his crew, is helped by French partissans avoid capture by the Germans. It sounds like F-Troop meets the 3 Stooges but I think the comedy is a cut above.
Run time is 2 hrs 12 min.
