The Evenings at Whitney speaker for this month is Todd Z. Osborne, Ph.D., Assistant Professor of Biogeochemistry, Whitney Laboratory of Marine Bioscience. His lecture is titled “Evolution of coastal ecosystems in Florida…”. Dr. Osborne studies biogeochemical processes in soil and water in a variety of ecosystems throughout Florida. He’ll review Florida’s geological and environmental history that has formed and shaped the coastal ecosystems that exist today.
The Evenings at Whitney are a series of public lectures on current science topics or ongoing research at the Whitney Lab that brings experts in their field to our region.
