Crabbing Basics – Making it Delicious, Keeping it Sustainable!

The tidal salt marsh of Gamble Rogers State Park is home to the Atlantic Blue Crab, a popular seafood and keystone species of the local ecosystem.  During this one hour hand-on program titled Crabbing Basics – Making it Delicious, Keeping it Sustainable!,  learn to catch these tasty crustaceans.  Appropriate for adults and families.  Meet at the Killdeer Pavilion, on the west side of the park.  Subject to cancellation due to weather conditions.

This program is free with park admission:

$5.00 per vehicle – limit 8 people per vehicle
$4.00 per single occupancy vehicle
$2.00 Pedestrians, bicyclists, extra passengers, passengers in vehicle with holder of Annual Individual Entrance Pass 5.00 per vehicle – limit 8 people per vehicle
