Join park volunteer, Jim Gleason, on this unique beach walk. Participants will enjoy having the opportunity to explore the second largest outcropping of Coquina rock on the Atlantic Coast with a guide and will gain a better understanding of the beach ecosystem as a whole, including birds, shells, and plants that are found along the way.
Program included with park entry. Participants will meet at the beach side parking lot at Washington Oaks and are encouraged to wear comfortable hiking shoes suitable for rough terrain. Call 386-446-6783 for more information. This month there will be two beach walks, one of March 3rd at 9:00am, the other on March 18th at 11:00am.
