The St. Augustine Amphitheatre officially kicks off the 2018 concert season with the Chris Young Losing Sleep 2018 World Tour with featuring special guests Kane Brown and LANCO. Proclaimed a “headliner on his own, capable of stirring an audience in ways very few in country music can” (Taste of Country) and “one of the more commanding voices in country music” (Houston Chronicle), the Grammy-nominated singer has invited his Sony Music Nashville label mates Kane Brown and LANCO to join as special guests for the first leg of the “Chris Young Losing Sleep 2018 World Tour”.
Recently invited to become the newest member of the iconic Grand Ole Opry, Chris Young has earned multiple ACM, BBMA, CMA, CMT, Grammy, and RDMA nominations and scored three consecutive chart-topping singles, including his ninth No. 1 “Sober Saturday Night” with Vince Gill, from his “excellent” (New York Times) album “I’m Comin’ Over” (2015). He continues to set the bar even higher with the release of his brand new single, “Losing Sleep”, which amassed more than 1.25 Million on-demand streams in its first week of release. With six albums to his credit, including 2016’s ‘It Must Be Christmas” and 2015’s Gold-certified studio album, “I’m Comin’ Over”, which debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums Chart, Chris continues to reach new heights with his hotly anticipated seventh album, “Losing Sleep” due out October 20, 2017.
Before signing his record deal in early 2016, rising star Kane Brown had already established a passionate online following in the millions. Almost immediately, the RCA Nashville/Zone 4, singer/songwriter was making chart history with the release of “Chapter 1”, which became the highest-debuting country EP of the Nielsen SoundScan era and featured the RIAA Gold-certified “Used to Love You Sober”. His “Kane Brown” full-length released in December 2016, debuting at #1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums and Top 10 on the Billboard 200 all-genre chart. Kane Brown also claimed the #4 spot as the best-selling new-artist album debut of 2016, in any genre.
Sony Music Nashville’s breakout band LANCO has built a groundswell movement behind their current Top 10 and climbing single “Greatest Love Story” as it edges closer to the top of both the radio and sales charts. Songwriter/lead singer Brandon Lancaster serves as the sole lyricist behind the “sentimental misfit’s anthem, powered by sweeping romanticism and emotive lyricism” (Hits Magazine). The five-man band recently wrapped the recording process behind their debut album with award-winning producer Jay Joyce (Eric Church, Cage The Elephant, Little Big Town), which is slated for release early next year. Named as “the band to watch” by Bobby Bones, CMT, Entertainment Weekly, Rolling Stone, Spotify and more, LANCO gained their status from touring the country’s top festivals including Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, Austin City Limits, Watershed, Route 91, and more.
