Critically-acclaimed, singer-songwriter Lera Lynn and special guests Israel Nash and Rivernecks will host the St. Augustine Amphitheatre Backyard Block Party on Sunday, April 10. Based in Nashville, Lera Lynn’s self-released sophomore album “The Avenues” (out now) continues to receive critical acclaim from many sources. The album was covered by NPR’s popular “All Things Considered” and appeared in the “Top 50 Albums of the Year” from American Songwriter (ranking #14), Rolling Stone, Huffington Post and numerous other “Best Albums of the Year”. “The Avenues” has aspects of old country music..music of the Patsy Cline era with many other influences and styles in the music.
Americana upstart Israel Nash returns from Texas Hill Country with his “Silver Season”, a deeply gorgeous and wholly immersive nine-song set that plays less like an album and more like a cross section of time and space. Here, this Missouri son sounds more assured than ever, supported by his highly capable band and production inspired by psychedelic greats.
Doors 6:00pm / Music 6:30pm
Food trucks and other local vendors will be on site as part of the Block Party.
