EMMA Concert Association presents two of the most exciting young performers in the world of classical music. Violinist Andrew Sords began piano lessons at the age of five, followed shortly by violin studies. Today he is recognized internationally for his performances, combining virtuosity and ravishing tone and has received numerous awards. Pianist Eriko Izumida is an active soloist, collaborative pianist, and chamber musician who has performed extensively throughout the United States, including with members of the Cleveland Orchestra. A native of Japan, Ms Izumida began playing piano at the age of three. She’s studied with Graeme Humphrey at the Royal Academy of Music in London and Thomas Hecht at the Cleveland Institute of Music (where she holds both Bachelor and Master of Music degrees in piano performance).
Tickets may be purchased in advance on EMMA Concert’s webiste, by phone at 904-797-2800, or at the door. The box office opens one hour before the performance.
