St. Johns County 4-H youth photos will be on exhibit at the St Johns County Administration Building March 1 – April 21, 2016. The 4-H Youth Development Program provides several opportunities throughout the year for youth to learn and develop skills related to photography as well as compete at the local and state level with their photos. Photo-related learning opportunities take place at 4-H summer camps, county workshops and club meetings with the guidance of 4-H volunteers, Master Gardeners and the St. Augustine Camera Club.
Photo subject areas include people, animals, plant/flora, scenic, architectural elements, still life, and 4-H theme. Those images submitted for competition are judged on focus, lighting, subject matter, composition, impact, and creativity.
The exhibit is free and open to the public Monday through Friday from 8:00am – 4:30pm.
