1964: The Tribute – the best Beatles tribute on earth – returns to perform in concert at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre. Hailed by critics and fans alike as the most authentic and endearing Beatles tribute in the world, 1964: The Tribute takes their audiences on a musical journey to an era in rock history that will live in all of our hearts forever.
“1964” is an accurate re-creation of an actual mid-1960s Beatles concert, with all of its Liverpudlian charisma, performed in period suits and Beatle wigs, stage demeanor, guitar stance and cheeky between-song banter as historically accurate as possible. No facial hair for these guys – they don’t go past 1966, when the Beatles themselves stopped playing live and retreated into the studio. That’s probably why Rolling Stone called 1964 “The Best Beatles Tribute on Earth”.
For over 30 years, 1964: The Tribute has played over 3,000 shows and been featured on TV programs like The CBS Early Show, Entertainment Tonight, PM Magazine, CNN, The USA Network, and TNN. They’ve toured around the world performing at major concert venues performing at Carnegie Hall on January 11, 2014 to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of The Beatles’ performances there.
